Once the update of the bases has been published, the digitizing agents who have signed up will be able to update their offer of solutions in the Catalogue and those who have not done so will be able to sign up for the first time.
Membership as digitizing agents will be open throughout the duration of the Program.
Medium-sized companies, new beneficiaries of the Program
This amendment also includes medium-sized companies as new beneficiaries of the Digital Kit aid and establishes two new segments based on the number of employees . On the one hand, segment IV, which will be made up of companies with between 50 and less than 100 employees, whose aid amount will be 25,000 euros, and on the other hand, segment V, made up of companies with between 100 and less than 250 employees, for which the digital bonus will be 29,000 euros.
Applications for medium-sized companies can be submitted once the corresponding call is published and the application form is subsequently opened. This is expected to take place in the last quarter of 2024.
Digital Kit Program
The Digital Kit program is an initiative of the Government of Spain and managed by Red.es - an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence - which aims to promote the digitalization of medium and small companies, micro-enterprises and self-employed workers, and contribute to modernizing the Spanish productive fabric.
It has a budget of 3,067 million euros, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Spain Digital 2026 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025, and aims to digitize SMEs and self-employed workers in all productive sectors throughout the national territory.
