Tips and tricks for preparing presentations
A presentation is a public speech that includes a clear and logical explanation, visual support - most often slides, and proper delivery as a manifestation of the speaker's skills and personal qualities. How to prepare a successful presentation? Use our recommendations and advice.
Content and structure
When you start creating a presentation, don't rush to launch the corresponding program. Start by formulating the purpose of the speech, selecting the content and creating the presentation structure.
1. Formulate the goal. Do you need to inform the bahamas phone number lead audience about the results and achievements? To motivate the listeners to take some action? To entertain? How should your presentation influence the listeners, what should change in them? The answer to the question about the purpose of the speech determines the entire preparation process.
2. Define the content. What do you want to tell the audience? What is the main idea of your speech? What arguments are you going to give to justify your ideas? Write down the main points on sticky notes, recording the content of the presentation.
3. Think about the structure. Look through the stickers and determine the order in which to present the theses. Arrange the stickers so that the horizontal lines contain the theses that develop the main idea of the presentation, and the vertical lines contain the theses that prove, support and explain the main theses. The presentation of the material presented in this article will have the structure shown in Figure 1. A logical horizontal-vertical presentation allows the audience to easily follow your train of thought. Think about what accents, comparisons, stories can be added to the main structure. This will enliven the story, make it memorable. Add the appropriate stickers. Remember that stories have an emotional impact, but they do not prove anything; you cannot draw a conclusion based on a story. Facts, figures, statistics are convincing, but they can be difficult to perceive. The result of this stage is a speech script. Now you can start the first rehearsal.

4. Speak the text. Speaking the presentation using the structure on the stickers will immediately allow you to understand whether there are enough arguments, how logically they are built, whether the accents are placed correctly. Does this structure and this content correspond to the goal you set for yourself when you started creating the presentation? Estimate the time of the speech and compare it with the regulations.
